My studio resides just outside the garden, with magnificent views of the lake, the garden, and the woods. Critters wander thru looking for respite and snacks. Some stay, some wander on. A critter manages to capture my heart everyday. I have been working on transforming our yard into a certified natural backyard habitat and will share the toil and delights with you. Whether you are looking to create your own garden or simply take in the tales from mine, I'm happy to share.

Why Fa-la-la? We live on beautiful Lake Eufaula (pronounced like a drawn out "you-follow" with an a in place of the w). I have a beautiful garden in which I enjoy soaking up the sun, harvesting fresh herbs and vegetables, picking fresh flowers, and watching the wildlife. It inspires me and brings joy into my life and i express that and share it through painting, doodling and photography,  capturing critter tales if you will. I thoroughly enjoy my la-la-la time, as my husband calls it.
